Today on a whim, I took my daughter on a tour of a local candy factory. We were in the area and thought it would be fun. Â After paying a couple dollars for the tour, a nice motherly woman stood in front of us with a tray of chocolates to give us as samples while she explained there were no pictures to be taken on the tour and by the way, you need to give your cameras and cell phones to the front desk person. We then toured the plant. Â The R&D room, the carmel-making facility and the finishing was all enclosed and we couldn’t see it. Bravo! What do you do for an encore?
An encore is: an extra or repeated performance; usually given in response to audience demand  Reference: wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn I would also add it is immediate – you don’t go to a performance and then have the encore the next day.  The audience is so happy with the experience they don’t want it to end. So we got our printer and it has a feature I love. It prints with the results face up and it prints last page to first so when you pick it up, it is in order! No really! Okay – so why am I excited? Â Obviously I’ll get used to it like, tomorrow and won’t notice anymore but for now, this is a major change. It means when I […] Continue reading
