My computer finally died last week after a valiant struggle to keep going. Â On my new one, I figured it was a good time to bite the bullet and install Windows 8 that I hadn’t heard a single good thing about, but knew was necessary. Â Boy was I surprised! Â It is great! Â Here’s what I’ve liked so far: First, the start up screen is completely customizable. Â I will say I’m not a desktop storage person and generally have 3 things on the desktop so it doesn’t bother me that it isn’t the first thing I see. But I LOVE having the applications I use most that handy. Â I have completely reorganized it from the defaults and now I am super-efficient.
